Biographical Text

Ayrton's first solo excavation was of Shunet ez-Zebib. He later worked to recover graves at Deir el-Bahari. His most notable achievements were worked with Theodore Davis at Biban el-Moluk on the tombs of the kings and with W. L. S. Loat in Abydos on the Sixth Dynasty tombs.
