Biographical Text
Excavated at Kom el-Ahmar and other sites in Upper Egypt with Professor J. Garstang. Made many watercolors of antiquities for Lord Carnarvon, Theodore M. Davis, and others (some have been reproduced as color plates). Died while working in the Valley of the Kings in Theodore Davis's Dig House, and was buried at Luxor.
